It's time for a brand new cue word over at CASology!
When I saw this word, I had a few ideas stir in my head, but went with a design focused (excuse the pun) on vision. It's always so nice to have clear vision! I began wearing glasses in 10th grade (even though I think I needed them back in 8th grade). These days, I prefer contacts, but have a pair of glasses ready if ever needed!
I used a stamp from Taylored Expression's Spectacular set. I chose not to frame the main panel because I ended up liking how it looked with just some simple dimension. The eye chart looked more realistic to me this way! There's not much to explain for the design process on this one! I do believe I was able to preserve plenty of open space?!

I'm only kidding! LOVE this card, Melissa! I'm always amazed when I watch my kids read the eye chart with ease, all the way to the smallest row, at the pediatrician's office. I'm standing there squinting, trying to magically see what they see...not gonna happen!
I had my eyes tested over the weekend, and boy, I don't know why they want me to read the last line!

This is clearly super sweet, finally an eye chart I can read. I only started wearing glasses for reading int he last 10 years, but I could get by without them. Not anymore I need them for any and all reading, bi-focals are in my future I am sure!
ReplyDeleteI like it unframed too - it's perfect popped up like that! I've got glasses when I was 12. Now I mostly wear contacts. It's too humid here for glasses - I feel like they're always sliding off of my nose! :D
