Daisy Pixie

2.22.2012

Some of my mother's favorite flowers are daisies.  Her wedding flowers were daisies and she still prefers them, but with a little purple mixed in now.  I just love the sweetness of this little pixie from A Day for Daisies and created a card using this month's colors from over at The Crafter's Cafe Challenge Blog:  red, pink & purple.  You have about a week left to play along if you want to join in the fun!

Supplies:
Stamps - A Day for Daisies (Tiny Pixie Daisy - digital)
Paper - SU Real Red, Rich Razzleberry & Pretty in Pink cardstocks, Copic Blending Card, My Mind's Eye DP
Ink - SU Real Red
Accessories - SU buttons, Nestabilities (circle & blossom), SU Rich Razzleberry taffeta ribbon, foam dots (popped up main image circle), baker's twine
Coloring - Copic markers

The Crafter's Cafe Challenge Blog

2.08.2012

If you've never visited The Crafter's Cafe Challenge Blog or The Crafter's Cafe online community, you should go take a look!  There is so much fun going on at The Crafter's Cafe that they decided to start an official challenge blog!  I was asked to be a part of the Challenge Team, so here I am sharing my first card for the new blog!  The challenge this month is to use a pink/red/purple color combination.

This month's sponsor is A Day for Daisies, a fabulous online shop with tons of wonderful images!  They are providing a $12 gift certificate to the store for this month's challenge winner!  This little pixie was fun to color and I decided to make her the star of the show by keeping things clean and simple!  Isn't she sweet?!

Supplies:
Stamps - A Day for Daisies (Tiny Pixie Rose - digital), The Stamps of Life (sentiment)
Paper - Paper Trey white CS, SU Elegant Eggplant CS, My Mind's Eye DP (Love Me)
