Coffee Loving Cardmakers Design Team Member!

11.12.2015

Are you a coffee loving cardmaker? You might already be familiar with the official website for such people, Coffee Loving Cardmakers, but if not, you really must go check it out!  If you're on Instagram, be sure and follow along here!

As of this week, there is now an official design team and, guess what?!  I was asked to be one of the design team members!  Can you say I'm just a teensy weensy bit excited?!  I'm joining this fabulous group of ladies...

In celebration, I went ahead and stirred up a little caffeination related inspiration!  I know I'm stating the obvious with this card, but I thought it appropriate for my first post as an official design team member.

Stamps:  Hero Arts (LOL), Sweet Stamp Shop (Cuppa Coffee)

As you can see, Clean & Simple is my game!  Tomorrow I'm going to be revealing my craft space here on the blog! You'll see "clean & simple" lived out there too!  You might even see a few coffee related items gracing the photos...

Have a fabulous Thursday!

A World Smile Day Boo! & Announcement!

10.03.2014

Yep! I'm still here. Just having a flurry of activity on the home front as the week comes to a close!

It's World Smile Day today and, while I really wanted to make a card with this theme, I just don't have extra time to spare this week!  I figured I'd share a cute little Halloween card that's been staring at me from the counter, patiently waiting to make it's debut here on the blog.  I think it's smile worthy?!

Stamps:  Endless Creations (KB's Ghost, Halloween Fun Cube - sentiment)
The ghosts and sentiment are from Endless Creations, a fun online stamp company!  I met the owner in person last year!  They have some great Halloween stamps for this time of year, so you'll have to go check out their store!

I sprayed the ghosts with my favorite spritz sprays, Heidi Swapp Color Shine, to give them a little eerie sheen.  Then, I popped them up with some foam dots for dimension and added three black sequins for good measure.

On another note, I have some exciting news to share with you!  I am joining the Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps design team for their next term, starting this month!  I designed for them back in 2011/2012 and am excited to be back!  I can't wait to showcase their high quality, beautiful stamps again!

PPRS Blog

Halloween is just around the corner and I haven't even started figuring out costumes for the kids!  We'll have to dig through our tote of Halloween fun and see if there are some things that can be reused!

Lots to do yet today, so off I go!  I hope you've had a great week!

Enjoy your weekend!

I am embarking on a new adventure!  I have been asked to be a part of the Craft Storage Ideas Contributor Team!  Yay!  This couldn't have come at a better time!  This particular year, it's a goal of mine to find organization ideas and put them to use in my craft room.  DH has started working on finishing the basement and that, to me, just means I'm getting closer to having a brand new place to create that is bigger than a walk-in closet!  Mind you, I don't mind my current cozy place, but sometimes I just wish I had a closet for storage and a little more room to walk and breathe.  That said, I have been on a mission to find some good organizing ideas and inspiration!  Hello, Craft Storage Ideas!  I've been browsing their pages of inspiration for quite a while now and am so inspired by what they find to share with the blog world!  If you aren't familiar with their blog, please take a little time to go take a look!  You'll be inspired!  Promise.
